As part of our contractual or commercial relationship, or as part of access to and use of the JLME Site(s), we collect, use and process the Personal Data that you provide when relevant, such as the following categories of data:

  • Identification data: surname, first name, professional contact details (job title, function, company, email, telephone);
  • Professional data: email, telephone, information relating to commercial exchanges or support
  • Location data: country, city, depending on your IP address or browsing preferences
  • Computer data: IP address (partially anonymized or not depending on your consent), session identifiers, activity log, date, duration of visit, pages viewed, interactions on the site (clicks, forms), browser configuration, operating system and device used.

What are the purposes of processing personal data?

To which countries is personal data transmitted?

JLME processes your personal data primarily within the EU. Your personal data may be shared with the relevant recipients described in the section "Who will receive your personal data?" on a need-to-know basis, including to entities located outside the EU.

This transmission is subject to appropriate protection rules, in particular the standard contractual clauses established by the European Commission.

For JLME, the majority of personal data processing is carried out in the EU, and below is a list of the countries in which JLME may operate:

How long will your personal data be kept?

We process and store your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual and regulatory obligations. If your personal data is no longer required to fulfill our contractual and regulatory obligations, it will be deleted at regular intervals, unless further processing is necessary, for example to retain specific evidence under applicable data protection laws and regulations, or in the context of statutory limitation periods.

Security

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect the data under our control against accidental or malicious manipulation, loss, destruction, and against access to this data by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are continuously improved as new technologies become available.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

You can exercise your data protection rights at any time

  • Right to access / obtain a report detailing the information held about you You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed by JLME, and if so, you have the right to know what specific data is being processed.
  • Right to rectification of personal data You have the right to modify any inaccurate personal information about you.
  • Right to be forgotten In certain cases, for example when personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected, you have the right to have your personal data erased.
  • Right to stop processing your data You have the right to limit the processing of your personal data by JLME, for example when such processing is unlawful, and to object to it by requesting the deletion of your personal data. In these cases, your personal data will only be processed with your consent or for the exercise or defense of a legal claim.
  • Right to data portability In certain circumstances defined by law, you have the right to receive personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to transmit this data to another controller.
